Parilla is also a huge supporter of the community, as they host multiple events throughout the year. The summer time also brings an outdoor concert series which is also part of the commute options program. What better than cruising on your bike and checking out the music on a warm summer night in Bend. With summer right around the corner it wont be long until we are enjoying the hot summer days. But as it is still winter, although a mild one, you can keep warm and full with great eats at Parilla Grill.

     The local music series has been going on for a few years now and attracts a very chill crowd of people. The music starts at 2:30pm every Sunday for the entire summer. You are allowed to bring coolers, chairs, food and any of your favorite adult beverages. I like meeting up with friends down their and play some Frisbee or hacky sack or just kick back and have a few beers. The music is usually by a local artist and varies from rock, blues, reggae or bluegrass. No matter what the music the atmosphere is great with well over a thousand people enjoy the day.

     So if your looking to fill up the last part of sunday then grab The Source Weekly and see who’s playing down at the Les Schwab Amphitheatre. Located right in the middle of the Old Mill District it is a short drive or bike ride for everyone in Bend to enjoy some free music. See you down by the river!
