I hope your all having a good day so far. I’m headed to the river for work again, but afterwards I’ll be heading down to the Les Schwab Amphitheatre for some music in the sun. If your looking for something to fun and chill to do with some friends or the family you should check out the scene down by the river.
The local music series has been going on for a few years now and attracts a very chill crowd of people. The music starts at 2:30pm every Sunday for the entire summer. You are allowed to bring coolers, chairs, food and any of your favorite adult beverages. I like meeting up with friends down their and play some Frisbee or hacky sack or just kick back and have a few beers. The music is usually by a local artist and varies from rock, blues, reggae or bluegrass. No matter what the music the atmosphere is great with well over a thousand people enjoy the day.
So if your looking to fill up the last part of sunday then grab The Source Weekly and see who’s playing down at the Les Schwab Amphitheatre. Located right in the middle of the Old Mill District it is a short drive or bike ride for everyone in Bend to enjoy some free music. See you down by the river!
